Always felt unwanted? Lifescope says, [Moses spoke to the people of Israel:] "The Lord did not set His love on you or choose you because you were more in number than any other people, for you were the least of all peoples; but because the Lord loves you, and because He would keep the oath which He swore to your fathers, the Lord has brought you out with a mighty hand, and redeemed you from the house of bondage, from the land of Pharaoh, king of Egypt. Therefore know that the Lord your God, He is God, the faithful God Who keeps covenant and mercy for a thousand generations with those who love Him and keep His commandments." For if you return to the Lord, your brethren and your children will be treated with compassion by those who lead them captive, so that they may come back to this land; for the Lord your God is gracious and merciful, and will not turn His face from you if you return to Him. For He foreordained us (destined us, planned in love for us) to be adopted (revealed) as His own children through Jesus Christ, in accordance with the purpose of His will - because it pleased Him and was His kind intent; (so we might be) to the praise and the commendation of His glorious grace - favor and mercy - which He so freely bestowed on us in the Beloved. For the Lord God is a sun and shield; the Lord bestows favor and honor; no good thing does He withhold from those whose walk is blameless. Unless the Lord had given me help, I would soon have dwelt in the silence of death. When I said, "My foot is slipping," Your love, O Lord, supported me. You have granted me life and favor, and Your care has preserved my spirit. When I called, You answered me; You made me bold and stouthearted. Therefore, since we have a great High Priest Who has gone through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to the faith we profess. For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but we have One Who has been tempted in every way, just as we are - yet was without sin. For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men. Taken from Deut. 7, II Chr. 7, Eph. 1, Ps. 84, 94, Job
