Trying to climb to the top? Lifescope says,
"If you take the right route, you can stay there!

If anyone respects and fears God, he will hate evil. For wisdom hates pride, arrogance, corruption and deceit of every kind. Trust the Lord with all your heart. Don't depend on your own understanding. Don't depend on your own wisdom. Respect the Lord and refuse to do wrong.
There is one thing worse than a fool, and that is a man who is conceited. Pride ends in a fall, while humility brings honor. Pride leads only to shame. It is wise not to be proud. Pride leads to arguments; be humble, take advice and become wise. The wicked people are too proud. They do not look for God. There is no room for God in their thoughts. Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight!
Jesus called a little child to His side and set him on his feet in the middle of them all. "Believe Me," He said, "unless you change your whole outlook and become like little children you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. It is the man who can be as humble as this little child who is greatest in the kingdom of heaven."
[James and John asked Jesus if they could rule at His side in His kingdom.] The other ten disciples were indignant when they heard what James and John had asked for. But Jesus called them together and said, "Among the heathen, kings are tyrants and each minor official lords it over those beneath him. But it must not be so among you. No, whoever among you wants to be great must become your servant, and if he wants to be first among you he must be your slave - just as the Son of Man has not come to be served but to serve, and to give His life to set many others free."
[Jesus spoke about the Pharisees:] "Everything they do is done for show. They act holy by wearing on their arms little prayer boxes with Scripture verses inside, and by lengthening the memorial fringes of their robes. And how they love to sit at the head table at banquets, and in the reserved pews in the synagogue!
The more lowly your service to others, the greater you are. To be the great-est, be a servant. But those who think themselves great shall be disappointed and humbled; and those who humble themselves shall be exalted."
