Trying too hard at the game of life? Lifescope says, Follow God's example in everything you do just as a much loved child imitates his father. Be full of love for others, following the example of Christ Who loved you and gave himself to God as a sacrifice to take away your sins. And God was pleased, for Christ's love for you was like sweet perfume to Him. Learn as you go along what pleases the Lord. Take no part in the worthless pleasures of evil and darkness, but instead, rebuke and expose them. If we love God, we will do whatever He tells us to. And He has told us from the very first to love each other. Dear children, keep away from anything that might take God's place in your hearts. When someone becomes a Christian he becomes a brand new person inside. He is not the same any more. A new life has begun! For God was in Christ restoring the world to Himself, no longer counting men's sins against them but blotting them out. This is the wonderful message He has given us to tell others. And now just as you trusted Christ to save you, trust Him, too, for each day's problems; live in vital union with Him. Let your roots grow down into Him and draw up nourishment from Him. See that you go on growing in the Lord, and become strong and vigorous in the truth you were taught. Let your lives overflow with joy and thanksgiving for all He has done.
