Overwhelmed by recent weather? Lifescope says, And as [Jesus' disciples] were gazing intently into the sky while He was departing, behold, two men in white clothing stood beside them; and they also said, "Men of Galilee, why do you stand looking into the sky? This Jesus, Who has been taken up from you into heaven, will come in just the same way as you have watched Him go into heaven." I will lift up my eyes to the mountains; from whence shall my help come? My help comes from the Lord, Who made heaven and earth. He will not allow your foot to slip; He Who keeps you will not slumber. For just as the lightning comes from the east, and flashes even to the west, so shall the coming of the Son of Man be . . . but immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light, and the stars will fall from the sky, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken, and then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky with great power and great glory. And He will send out His angels with a loud trumpet-call and they will gather together His chosen from the four winds - from one end of the heavens to the other. [The Lord showed this to John in a vision:] "Once again I looked, and a white cloud appeared before me with Someone sitting upon the cloud with the appearance of a man. He had a golden crown on His head, and held a sharp sickle in His hand. Then another angel came out from the Sanctuary, calling in a loud voice to the One sitting on the cloud, 'Thrust in Your sickle and reap, for the time of reaping has come and the harvest of the earth is fully ripe!' " Yes, now, little children remember to live continually in Him. So that if He were to reveal Himself we should have confidence, and not have to shrink away from His presence in shame. For if you tell others with your own mouth that Jesus Christ is your Lord, and believe in your own heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in his heart that a man becomes right with God; and with His mouth He tells others of his faith, confirming his salvation.
