You will keep in perfect peace him whose mind is steadfast, because he trusts in You. Yes, Lord, walking in the way of Your laws, we wait for You; Your name and renown are the desire of our hearts. My soul yearns for You in the night; in the morning my spirit longs for You. When Your judgments come upon the earth, the people of the world learn righteousness.

   [The Lord says:] "And don't forget the many times I clearly told you what was going to happen in the future. For I am God - I only - and there is no other like Me Who can tell you what is going to happen. All I say will come to pass, for I do whatever I wish. But to you who fear My name the Sun of Righteousness shall arise with healing in His wings."

   The fear of the Lord adds length to life, but the years of the wicked are cut short. As for God, His way is perfect; the Word of the Lord is flawless. He is a shield for all who take refuge in Him. For Who is God besides the Lord? And Who is the Rock except our God? Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised in the city of our God, in His holy mountain. Beautiful in elevation, the joy of the whole earth, is Mount Zion on the sides of the north, the city of the great King. God is in her palaces; He is known as her refuge.

   Strengthen the weak hands, and make firm the feeble knees. Say to those who are fearful-hearted, "Be strong, do not fear!" Come, let us return to the Lord. For He has torn us, but He will heal us; He has wounded us, but He will bandage us. He will revive us after two days; He will raise us up on the third day that we may live before Him. So let us know, let us press on to know the Lord. His going forth is as certain as the dawn; and He will come to us like the rain, like the spring rain watering the earth.

   May those who delight in my vindication shout for joy and gladness; may they always say, "The Lord be exalted, Who delights in the well-being of His servant."

   Lord, You establish peace for us; all that we have accomplished You have done for us. Satisfy us in the morning with Your unfailing love, that we may sing for joy and be glad all our days.
